Mule are playing my home city in early July :D It'll be one of my most anticipated gigs of the year, can't wait to see what they pull out of the bag!

4h 45 is insane  Even Led Zep at their most excessive did around 3 and a half hours! I saw someone had posted some recordings of their (recent?) Wood Tour on Demonoid - cool that they're trying the acoustic format...

That Wood Tour had ticket prices running $150+ because they played smaller venues. Sarah ordered me up the DVD of the three Aspen shows, their last before the break.

Now I am sort of glad they are taking a break, so I can turn my attention to Mule, Umphries, Disco Biscuits, Phish and all the rest.

I certainly do count Trucks, Allman Bros as jam. They come through the Midwest fairly often and the cool thing is, sometimes they (as most jam bands) wind up playing outdoor festivals with little prior announcement.
