I've got a wee request, I've once posted this on the over-popular twitter so you might be in the know, but PLEASE could you bring Beauty of Uncertainty back when touring for next album? It's the one and only song that has NEVER EVER failed to give me goosebumps listening to it. I'm already counting myself lucky to have seen you perform it in 2008, but as it was my absolute fave on the setlist back then, I've really been missing it these tours!!
And if I can be really cheeky, the campfire tour looping you did in the US is IMMENSE. That's a hint

Have to quote this in every post in case the lady herself does read what's on here! I'm also going to reiterate my Bath conversation with her and request, please for the love of God, some Acoustic Extravaganza for the solo tour shows in November. Ideally I'd prefer Gone To The Dogs or Girl And The Ghost, but I'll take whatever I can get. I'd be a bit red-faced about Golden Age after I worked it out on guitar, brought along my typed out tablature of it hoping you might acknowldge my efforts to appreciate your music, and you signed it at Loch Fyne with, in big writing, 'By BECK!'. But even that would be something I'd enjoy once the red cheeks abated! I've been to loads of shows since the 2010 comeback and the only tour I missed was the Troika tour, which was the one where you did play Ashes - other than that no Acoustic Extravaganza on tour! So please, pleeeeeeeease play some. If you do, I promise to be dead nice. Like, stop throwing hats at you and making you wear them nice. That's how much it would mean to me. And if I'm being super greedy, mah fayyyyyvurrit choon of yours is Silent Sea and I've yet to hear you play it. That would make me emotional, happy and excited enough perhaps even to wet myself a little bit, but not enough so that you, the venue or the promoters would incur any liabilities or health and safety tickings off. Not sure if that's fair to you, but it's the best promise of behaviour I can make.
But anyway, let's mainly get behind Kim's request. I did originally come on here to say that I've never given KT a better present than 'The Beauty Of Uncertain Tea' and much as I wish I'd taken a photo of it (Julian did witness it before it was handed over at least), KT's smirk of bewilderment before it was explained and her chuckle afterwards may possibly live with me forever. So yes, Beauty Of Uncertainty for the live shows would be great, just for Kimothy!
