Figured I'd put my KT nutjob title to the test and figure out the lyrics to this song. Sorry if I should've put this in an already created topic (I probably should have), but I thought we might have some fun figuring it out.

Please bear in mind that I'm only going by what I've deciphered, so its gonna be really weird, probably wrong and there'll be a lot of gaps to fill in!

GLAMOUR PUSS

(whistling)

Long legs (?)*** taking you somewhere
Catch your reflection in a window pane
The universe is startin' to feel ya (?)$
Drinking tequila like its the name of the game (?)**

(whistling)

Whoa whoa

CHORUS

Well you know it hasn't happened yeah (yet?)
You're relying on your next cheque (?)*
I know that you're a glamour puss
My explanation's useless (?)****
And you choo-choo on the roof (?)#
In your beautiful high heeled shoes (?)
Miss Glamour Glamour Puss

(whistling)

Baby ................ blindfold (?)
Riding in motorcycles
......... sounds like#.....................
Showing .... pressure
To loop to loop to loop (?)

Whoa oh

CHORUS

Well you know it hasn't happened yeah (yet?)
You're relying on your next cheque (?)*
I know that you're a glamour puss
And my explanation's useless (?)****
And you choo-choo on the roof (?)#
In your beautiful high heeled shoes (?)
Miss Glamour Glamour Puss

Push a little harder
Dance a little longer#
Never give yourself away
Love a little less (?)^
To keep yourself together
Everything will come your way

(Yeaaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaah)
Push a little harder
Dance a little longer#
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
Never give yourself away
(Yeaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaah)
Love a little less (?)^
To keep yourself together
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
Everything will come your way

Oh oh

(Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
Well you know it hasn't happened yeah (yet?)
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
You're relying on your next cheque (?)*
(Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
I know that you're a glamour puss
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
And my explanation's useless useless (?)****

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
Well you know it hasn't happened yeah (yet?)
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
You're relying on your next cheque (?)*
(Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah)
I know that you're a glamour puss
(Yeah yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!)
And my explanation's useless (?)****

And you choo-choo on the roof (?)#
In your beautiful high heeled shoes (?)
Miss Glamour Glamour Puss
Glamour glamour puss

* I thought this sounded like "you were lying on your electric chair", but having listened to it now, it doesn't sound like that.
** As suggested by both RockinRobin & Eimear.
*** As suggested by Eimear.
**** As suggested by Hummingbird.
^ As suggested by Maud.
# Somewhat figured/figured out by listening to this live version.
$ As suggested by mateytunstall.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's "name of the game". It just makes more sense.
And I think that first line is "long legs taking you somewhere"?

The bit in the chorus sounds like "chew chew on the roof", but I don't know how much sense that makes :smt017

LOL! KT must love that we try to figure out what she sings xD Not sure if that's a good thing, meaning she doesn't sing that clearly apparently

^I think we mostly don't understand her we don't know WHAT she's saying.. when it'd be a song we knew, we would understand her, while she sings the same way, cause we know what she's saying. If that makes sense

Anyway.. I think it's "love a little LESS" ?

Could she be saying anything related to "explanations" in the juices part?

That sounds pretty good to me.

I think "name of the game" is right Eimsy (and RockinRobin)! "Long legs taking you somewhere" sounds good too.

Maud wrote:

That's what I thought it might've been too...either that or "mess", but that doesn't make sense, so methinks its that.

I'll add those suggestions to the original post. Keep them coming!

Although both live versions I've heard so far are pretty good quality wise, I think its the sound quality overall + none of us having a lyrics booklet in front of us that's contributing to this mystery.
