Oh no..don't be sorry. Here are the guitar chords for Walk Like An Egyptian. KT uses a Cappo, but it isn't necessary.

Walk Like An Egyptain:

(Cappo 2)

A
All the old paintings on the tombs
G A
They do the sand dance don't you know
A
If they move too quick (oh whey oh)
G A
They're falling down like a domino

All the bazaar men by the Nile
They got the money on a bet
Gold crocodiles (oh whey oh)
They snap their teeth on your cigarette

D
Foreign types with the hookah pipes say
Ay oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh
A
Walk like an Egyptian

The blonde waitresses take their trays
They spin around and they cross the floor
They've got the moves (oh whey oh)
You drop your drink then they bring you more

All the school kids so sick of books
They like the punk and the metal band
When the buzzer rings (oh whey oh)
They're walking like an Egyptian

All the kids in the marketplace say
Ay oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh
Walk like an Egyptian

Slide your feet up the street bend your back
Shift your arm then you pull it back
Life is hard you know (oh whey oh)
So strike a pose on a Cadillac

If you want to find all the cops
They're hanging out in the donut shop
They sing and dance (oh whey oh)
Spin the clubs cruise down the block

All the Japanese with their yen
The party boys call the Kremlin
And the Chinese know (oh whey oh)
They walk the line like Egyptian

All the cops in the doughnut shop say
Ay oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh
Walk like an Egyptian
Walk like an Egyptian

Here is a youtube link of KT playing Walk Like An Egyptian. It helped me to get her strumming pattern down. :smt023

----------------------------------
----------------------------------
----------------------------------
------------3--2------------------
---5--x--5--------3--------------

Between the last 5 en the first 3 there's a little strum on the 5.
And on the last 3 theres some strumming too..you can hear it in the song.

Hello sorry i don't speak english but i have the chords of poison in your cup made by me, if you want i post it and you order it, sorry, i have not much time, well here chords:
The intro is just bass
F:033210
Em*:020010
Am:x02210
C and Em* a little fast after that Am*:x00010, Em*, C and start again, is it the intro, No está muy bien es que no lo puedo explicar , yo varío mucho el intro , but the chords of verse, chorus are more exact, here is:

Verse:
F:x33210
F*:33x210 or F**: 332010 F* is the most exact(check the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12S1A6gTIoQ) i think so but doesn't matter you choose anyone
Am: x02210, Am1: x20210, Am2: x30210

Pre-Chorus:"chorus" i think so
F, F*, C , Em7*: 020030, Am , G#*:4x0400

And Repeat The Verse When KT finish the second chorus use the chord i think Em7: 022030

And That's All i think , Avísame si me falto algo, Here my cover http://drive.heartinternet.co.uk/F/2000669-747982449
Anthis my cover of The other new song "Fireworker" http://drive.heartinternet.co.uk/F/2000669-522408573 From Perú.

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and am desperately trying to find the chords for KT Tunstall - Throw Me A Rope. I'm recording an album for my boyfriend and it supposed to tell the story of our relationship and this song just fits in so well. I've found a couple of tab versions using Google but I don't read tab which is the problem. I'm a musician and I've been trying to work out the rough chords by ear, but at the moment I've got so many gaps.

If anyone out there can help me then I'd be eternally grateful! I've literally spent days looking for this. Thanks in advance.

Hey..Welcome to the KT Forum!! I found these chords for Throw Me A Rope. They are a little higher than KT's version, but they still sound accurate. :smt023

Throw Me A Rope

Cappo 3

320003 - G
133211 - G with F Root
032013 - C with G sixth string
002020 - A7
032010 - C
000232 - D
022000 - Em

G GwF CwG
I want you between me and the feeling I get when I miss you
G GwF CwG
But everything here is telling me I should be fine
A7 C
So why is it so, above as below,
A7 D G
That I'm missing you every time

G GwF CwG
I got used to you whispering things to me into the evening
G GwF CwF
We followed the sun and its colours and left this world
A7 C
It seems to me that I'm definitely
A7 D G
Hearing the best that I've heard

(walk down from the G to GwF)

Chorus:

Em C G
So throw me a rope to hold me in place
Em C G GwF
Show me a clock for counting my days down
Em C G
Cause everything's easier when you're beside me
Em C
Come back and find me
G
Cause I feel alone

(2nd verse is the same as the 1st)

And whenever you go it's like holding my breath underwater
I have to admit that I kind of like it when I do
Oh but I've got to be unconditionally
Unafraid of my days without you

Goodluck with the song..Hope everything works out!!

-K

I tried to fix it, but the chords won't post directly above the words. Though they are in the correct row. I hope you can figure it out. If you listen to the chord changes in the song, you should get the rhythm down.
