I bought it too! Even my Dad commented on how strange it was that I was actually buying an album. You know it's something worthy of note when even the father, who generally doesn't have a clue, picks up on it!

I'm really enjoying it so far, but haven't devoted full full attention as of yet..

I think the new album is gorgeous.

She's doing an instore (well two actually) here tonight at banquet again. But for some reason I'm not going.

Can't get the record over here yet (but I have been listening to it online, thanks to Tom), but just found out she's going to be at a tiny little club here on May 12! So excited! :D

She was!

The hair was a bit frightening though, and she always looks so stern

Get with the times Eric - all the girls are doing the pineapple hair style at the moment! I've got it going on right now, in fact, ha.

She's also so naturally beautiful. She looks so un-made-up, but she's still gorgeous.

And I love her stern-ness. Doesn't she look a million times more comfortable and confident these days though? I remember the first live performance of hers I saw - she looked like she was about to break down and cry/flee from the stage!

x

Ha, yeah she was a LOT more comfortable than before. I agree she's pretty and it makes a change to see someone happy with themselves to be natural and just let the music and that extraordinary voice do the talking.

Couldn't agree more with you two smart cookies :smt023

I often find these days that someone who I might quite like on a recording sadly disappoints when playing live so it's very refreshing and heartwarming to see someone who is truly brilliant live in her lovely natural way.

They used that shot on the cover of some freebie Reading magazine when the album came out. Love her with natural brown hair :smt023

Ready to bump the Switch List thread then Andi?

That's a great shot, love the blur effect around her face!
