Happy new Brandi music day everyone!!

Borders has a free "Dreams" download on its webiste and a video of an in-store performance with a cool segment on her favorite books, movies, & music. Check it out:

I was in Chicago last week for a wedding trying to figure out how to sneak out to catch Brandi at the House of Blues but did not succeed. :( Looking at the set list for that night and seeing "my song" and "creep" made me feel worse that I missed it but I have a show in LA next Saturday to look forward to! Yay! :smt041

I was there too! One of the BEST shows I've ever seen them do. The crowd was blowing the roof off the place! It's the biggest hall to date that they've played, I think. There were several times where the crowd was just going nuts and Brandi just kind of paused to take it all in - and then looked over at the guys like, "Holy crap, can you believe this?" It was awesome. The show in Philly last night was awesome too, but wasn't nearly as raucous and fun as NYC.

I am LOVING the album. And Megs - I totally know what you mean about Oh Dear. They've actually been opening the shows with that - all of them gathered around the mic, singing with only Phil playing ukelele. Pretty ballsy song to open with, what with the intervals and high notes she has to hit right off the bat. Most people would do that song later in the set when their voice was warmer - she's a badass. LOL

Yay! I wish I had been there with you and Mis. Sounds like it was a blast! My turn comes at the end of this month: Oct 23 Easy Street Records in-store and Oct 24 Paramount Seattle. :D

I'm trying to resist the temptation of iTunes...my vinyl/cd/t-shirt package should be arriving Monday. Oooh, it's tough, though.

Thanks for posting the EPK, Peter. :smt023

Yep, Megs, Allison Miller is drumming on this tour. I can't wait to see her in action at the end of the month! :D
And I've made it to Friday, so the chances of you getting your paws on my package ( :smt018 ) are dwindling.

For Brandi Fans in the LA area, I just read an e-mail from Largo at the Coronet!! Brandi is playing a special acoustic show on Monday, Oct. 19th, at 7pm. Only 100 tickets are being sold to the public and can only be purchased at the box office or by calling 310-855-0350. I just called and left a message so I'm hoping I'll hear back from them on ticket availability!
Nothing on their website yet but here it is :

http://www.largo-la.com/largohome.html

(Tickets are $25)
