I love this band ! They are all so nice

Saw them the first time in 1998 in a small club, very close to the stage. Then, later on, another seven times. I'm addicted to their music in the same way as to Heather Nova's and... of course KT's :lol:

Of course Shirl doesn't have a child so far, and is definitely not planning to have kids.
In interviews she often mentioned that she wouldn't want to have any at all....

..Know what you mean...seen them 5 times and they never fail to impress...at least thats one band who are actually older than me..and i'm 41....and before anyone asks..YES...i've met them...autographs..blah..blah..

I'm a fan of their older stuff to be honest - the current album & the last one have been pretty average IMO....I like Why Do You Love Me from this latest album, but that's about it....Version 2.0 is my fave by far, got me through my mid teens I have to say!

I know what you mean about the recent stuff. Thing is you can always guarantee a half decent effort from them whatever they release. If I had three top producers in my band who could also play their instruments like THAT I'd be pretty darn happy with myself.

First album impressed me the most, I dont listen to it these days but at the time it came out i remember it was great. Version 2.0 to me wasnt really an improvement on the first. They had some decent singles from it like "Push It" but I didnt buy the album.

The third album I listened to it in Sainsbury's the day it came out, I remember going through all the tracks and it just sounded rubbish. They really should change their name. :wink:

I love the first album, second was not as good, third was brilliant and fourth was OK. Cherry lips is BRILLIANT!

Bit annoyed you have to pay to go on the forums

Me too and I never logged in there ! Just send a big Thank You to the people of Warner Music. Those people, who always try to squeeze out the money of us fans should skip their job and rather buy citrons and squeeeeeeze !

Yeah I like Garbage bought ticket for UK tour in autumn which was cancelled anyone no real reason for cancellation. There are rumours of a break up.
