I think there are no word to describe the vibe and atmosphere of a recording session, with a group of music passionates, within the cosyness of a little cottage... :D

The new album will be released next February, in time for Lisa's birthday (and maybe mine) hopefully. She was on the John Creedon programme on RTE Radio 1 yesterday singing live backing vocals for Gavin Glass.

I went to see Jerry Fish at the Sugar Club on Friday evening - he's always great. His guests were Mick Flannery and Lisa Hannigan. Needless to say, Lisa was absolutely wonderful, but the evening was being recorded by Myles O'Reilly's Arbutus Yarns. At the end of the evening one of the videographers apologised for having blocked my view, but I told him I loved their work and looked forward to seeing the results. If you haven't checked Lisa's site recently you should pay a visit to see her videos
http://www.lisahannigan.ie/

and also check out Arbutus Yarns

It now looks like the follow-up to Sea Sew will not see the light of day until the Autumn.

I already have Passenger pre-ordered, and from the samples I can tell it is going to just as good as Sea Sew.

I can't wait. :D

You can listen to the album here http://www.kcrw.com/music/programs/ap/a ... gan_passen
It's good! :D

She played like 15 minutes away from my house in July and the whole of the new album was in the setlist (yes, I grabbed it). She's amazing as ever :mrg:
