Hi Holly!! :D Me and Helen (me sis who is also a KT forum regular!) used to live near Chelmsford (I was only 3 or 4 at the time in, like, 1970/71!!). Place called Rettendon Common I think? Does that make sense?? Is it still there?? We moved to Scotland after that, then Australia, so me memory's a bit hazy ............. :D

Was all this moving done on your own accord, or were you forced out of your homes and country of residence by angry villagers with pitchforks?

Well Mum and Dad always told us it was because they wanted us to experience as much as we could in the relatively short time we have to really live - but I'm now beginning to wonder why I've always had nightmares involving funny looking creatures armed with weapons, saying "go away, go away ........". P'raps you've come up with the truth, Guilty!!!! Never mind - the majority of our slightly insane family are still captives of the convict colony on the other side of the world. It's just me and Lelli you have to worry about now  !!

Are you sure that "funny looking creature" wasn't Helen, telling you to leave her alone?

I can't remember much about it - although I think it was still a bit rural when we lived there. We used to go horse riding at nearby stables. And we had a siamese cat called Jason (named after the Blue Peter cat at the time!) who got run over outside our house and we were all really sad :( .

OMG - what a long time ago!!!!!

Hehe :D

Top quote isn't it!? It is a real one - can't remember how I came across it now - been using it for years but it just seems so apt! Think it was from a book -will check - I'm sure you can check its authenticity tho if you don't believe me

in a wee while - boss alert
