Yes it was...really intimate..KT said she wants to play more of those type of gigs..i prefer her, and i told her this, and again, she agreed, that she is now BETTER solo, than with a band..she seem's to have moved up a couple more notches, and i don't miss the band at all..like she said to us all..she is really a folk singer..that's where she started, and the trouble was, when she was writing song's..the folk side was crushed by the stampeding wilderbeast of the "pop" side..but not anymore..in her mind, Invisible Empire is the best album she has written...also, she said that she would play song's tonight that she hardly play's ,or has ever played , solo..so none of the big hit's..but it was brilliant..we both joked after the gig, that i was probably the only person there who had purchased let alone heard of the Scarlet Tulip EP.. :D ..she said to me that she said to herself "at least Andy will know the songs!!"..anyway..it was great and can't wait for her to tour again soon....

Yes..she said she wrote this when she was about 15-17 years old, and she said it was probably written about a boy or something.. ..and when she sang the first few lines, " Its you i adore, and i want everyone to know, that i am your's"..people laughed..and she said "what,what??..i was young..and this is what young people were singing about"..then laughed..and then sang it, and then said "here's the trumpets"..and proceeded to do the trumpet solo with her lips!!..it was good and funny...she was brilliant..very funny, and had the audience in her hands..she got a really good reception too..like the host said..she is a legend.

Well if she is serious about really intimate gigs, I'll offer her up my sole participation. :smt023
