Do you know if people have just been unlucky and rumour has spread that she hasn't come out at some gigs, or have management specifically said she won't be out?

She told Kev in a inbox message that she wasn't coming out this tour

Wow, that's really odd! I mean I know we've all obviously had our fair share of photos/autos but she always seemed happy to do it.

Perhaps it's a really tough schedule or something, or people are asking too personal questions? I know I'd find that frustrating. Or maybe the word that she comes out has spread so far and wide there's just too many people lately?

Or she just needs a break from all these weirdos showing up at her gigs over and over

I dunno but I'm sure it's for a good reason.

This graybird has already posted theories on why the crowd seems older but I have a new one. I use a few internet services to send me emails on performers coming to certain venues in Mpls and I set the filters to only notify me for particular seated venues. I have little patience for nightclubs because the crowd tends to focus more on drinking, socializing and cellphones.

I'm sure this preference of nightclubs vs seated theaters is a generational thing but I also remember standing on general admission floors for shows in the 70's and 80's (my socializing years :smt043 ) and we still kept our mouths shut and listened to the music. I don't know where this tendency to place the artist in the background started for some nightclubs but personally I can't stand it. (Sorry, this turned into a half rant, not directed at anyone here obviously).

I think over half of all the seats in the venue were occupied by grey birds!! It was just one big sea of grey if you looked behind you! Where have they been hiding during all these years??
Luckily right behind us a couple of kids restored the balance a little
Then again, at some point we'll b old gits ourselves, at least we'll fit right in and we don't have to be embarrassed going to KT gigs together with the youth :p

Any KT fan should have seen at least one gig of this tour.

Maybe you will turn into one of the old gits who thinks they must like Cliff or Val Doonican cos they have reached a certain age. It's nice to know (from what I've read) that some of you youngsters are feeling self-conscious about your age too. Being one of the grey birds I sometimes feel self-conscious at gigs, but then when the band or whoever I am seeing is on stage, that's all I really care about, and since I don't always know anyone there apart from myself and friends, who cares? I haven't been hiding, I regularly go to gigs, check out new bands etc and a few youngsters doing selfies, not even watching the bands or getting drunk, aren't going to put me off - not yet anyway. If anything, I might feel sorry for them cos they are missing a really cool gig! We are all fans together eh????

We're all just as old as we feel, so basically some of us stay young forever :-D

Hey everyone, do you know what the stage times have been on this tour? Heading to Drury Lane this evening and wondering how late to leave it.

Wonder why she's not coming out afterwards? Seems a bit odd.

Thanks Kim! She was fantastic tonight - loved hearing her play the piano, and an acoustic gig was so relaxing and mellow. Her cover of Default was a real highlight - great lighting effects too.

Thought it was strange too.

Got an fb message saying she is "lying low" on this tour (I don't know what I wrote to trigger it, mind you :? ). I'm not going to complain, as Nat says, in the majority of cases we have met her a lot after gigs. This is the first time I've waited back and she hasn't come out - didn't know if it was related to a different TM (didn't see Trave anywhere)?
