Wow, thanks Mark and Teen! I hope no one is offended if some of these wind up as screensavers? :smt023

Check out the latest from a Glasgow newspaper:

"I'm probably taking a break from the write, record, release schedule I've been in for the past 10 years, so I fancy doing something different for a while."

And regarding our ongoing conversation re KT's career trajectory:

"'Being on a major label, and having success, is littered with obstacles in terms of the artist versus the label, because if the label sees you as a cash cow they want to keep you as that,' she says. 'I did end up with music I was proud of, but a lot of it I would have done differently. You've got to compromise with a label and I don't want to compromise anymore.'"

That's all very understandable... But secretly I really hope she can't go without that schedule too long though :p
What gigs are we supposed to go nuts at if she's not touring every couple of years? I need a little bit of madness in my overly boring busy schedule

Seriously though, I'd really, really miss her gigs & music. There's a lot of bands I LOVE, but none of all those bands I've seen come even close to the atmosphere KT creates at her gigs, at EVERY gig (honestly I really don't know how she manages to produce that kind of energy all the time!).
And I don't wish to believe I just think that cause I'm biased.

Oh I think we'll still be getting KT gigs again before too long even if the next album is a while away! :)

More power to KT in exploring new paths and, if we're lucky, inviting us again to come along for the ride. :smt023

Perth last night was an absolute blinder. KT's behaviour was a little..uh..erratic? I hope the tour song turns up on youtube because that was epic.

I did London, Glasgow and Perth. I only hung around in London but she did come out. Lovely to see her as always :D.
