When I went to see The Magic Numbers live last night they were talking about when every band and artist had a Message Board before Facebook and Twitter came along
This is one of the few websites that I know that still has an active Message Board - and I think its a good thing that this Message Boards are still going
The problem with Facebook is that everyone can see everyone elses business or you have to make friends with someone before you can talk to them - the thing about message boards is that you can talk to people that you may never meet unless its a gig
Long live the Message Board and maybe like vinyl it will make a comeback

Lots of people are leaving FB. I reckon message boards will make a comeback.

What would get it up and going again is if KT would come on hgere and ay hi...i prefer this to facebook..

I'll go along with wanting the board activity to pick back up. I just so don't trust FB.

Maybe I'll try telling her to post here. If not, might have to formulate a cunning plan...

Agree very strongly on the merit of message boards over FB and Twitter.

Here we have a community of souls that congregate over one particular subject and any extracurricular conversations fall in place (music in general). Outside of this community, we are different and are content at keeping that separate.

As long as the board exists, I'll keep checking in now and then. I do miss the active banter days but agree it probably was due to KT always touring.

There was ne'er a finer place than this forum in the glory days....

Facepalm can go hang....same with the birdie song place....
