I'm really sorry to hear that Edel... such a tragedy, so many people were on that plane :(
RIP to all of them.

Yesterday I heard that my friend from uni's mom, who lives in Houston, has friends who knew the parents of that 11yr old boy... Sometimes the world is so small... I'm really beginning to think that theory that through 6 other people you're connected to everyone in the world. Or something.

^ I just heard it on the radio :(

I wonder if they can calculate by the finding place of the debris and knowing the current where the plane must've crashed so they can find the black box and find out what went wrong... I think that's very important to know, not only for future safety but also for the people who the victims have left behind.

Agreed. Finding the black boxes would solve a lot of the mystery and, like you say, aid future safety as well as help those who are grieving. I just hope they can find them. :(

So far they've found two male bodies, a suitcase and a backpack with a computer in it.
