Ok that's good.
Good thing that the nurses keep checking in frequently too.

I've told you privately, James, but thoughts and prayers are continuing from across the sea. :smt056

Really sorry to hear about events with your dad James. As Guy said, there's not much you can do now for him, just make sure your presence is felt by being there for him before and I guess when he goes as well. My thoughts are with you. :smt056

I really am so very sorry to hear this, James - it's not a nice thing to have to deal with, let alone have to see. I hope that your Dad is at least as comfortable as possible, and knows how much you and the rest of the family love him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Dad, and the rest of your family.

Oh James...I send all of the love I have your way. I can't even begin to imagine what you are feeling right now. I hope that thoughts of comfort and memories of the better times will fill you up, knowing that he is now out of pain and in a better place.

My sincere condolences to you and all your family James. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm slightly relieved that this nightmare is finally over. I don't know what's more difficult, the grieving or seeing him diminished and in pain....but I have a feeling that the worst part is behind you.

Be proud of him, be happy for him. He raised a kid and helped him become the person you are now. The achievement of his life I'm sure.

Safe journey Mr Newcombe's Sr. We're thinking about you a lot, and we'll all look after your son. I'm sure you will too...

RIP xx
