It has been a long MIA. However, I never miss a KT show. This gig was unique, how? First, seated venue. Second, venue is a theatre. Lastly, very intimate. Small audience maybe no more than 150? Thus making the concert quiet. It has good and bad. Good, I can hear the tune oh so very well. Bad, the people around me can hear me sing oh so very well.
The gig kicked off with Brian Lopez opening. Really really freaking amazing artist, the best opening act out of the 4 KT gig I have been to. After 10 min break and my third beer, KT appears. Miss. T in a dapper suit and kicks off with one of my fav from the latest album "Invisible Empire" and ended with the whimsical "Chimes". It was a great set, she played songs that I haven't heard her play live before minus the latest songs from the album. KT being her very charming self, talkative, honest and very funny (Brian was as well). The set went by so quick and KT sounded soooooo bloody fantastic (when hasn't she right?). I personally prefer KT with a guitar and her trusty loop. I love it and everyone there loved it as well. We were totally honoured to be the last gig of the America/Canada tour. I bow Miss T, please return soon with your gracious self.
