I was lucky enough to attend this. Won tickets through TeamTunstall....I'll start by saying it took place at Apogee Studios in Santa Monica. The room itself was so incredibly small. Seriously, the most intimate show that I've ever attended. About 100-150 people. Her voice was fantastic and her wit, well we all know how that is...hilarious. Between her set she did an interview.

Setlist
Invisible Empire
Waiting On the Heart
Carried
Old Man Song
Yellow Flower

Interview

Crescent Moon
Feel It All
Honeydew
Scarlet Tulip
Made of Glass

Encore
State Trooper
Black Horse

Of course she messed up Old Man Song. Couldn't remember the lyrics at the beginning, exactly as she did at Glasto I believe. Was hilarious. Third time she still got em' wrong, but just went on with the song. Yellow Flower and Crescent Moon live are just jaw-dropping, seriously. I was put in a trance. State Trooper was so fun. Her vocals were on their top game. When she played Scarlet Tulip, and briefly talked about the ep, I was the only one that new about it and let in a quick cheer. We exchanged a smile, I'm sure she recognized me. :D Before she played Yellow Flower she said her usual banter regarding her taking years of piano lessons and yet hardly writes on it, i.e. most expensive songs you'll ever hear. Then said that at a show that her parents attended, forgetting they were, she said something along the lines of, "Thanks for all the *beep* piano lessons dad!" and then quickly heard him shout from the crowd, (and she yelled this in an old man voice) "What about all the *beep* flute lessons!?" HILARIOUS. Laughter quickly ensued and lasted for sometime. The show in its entirety was an hour and a half. Unfortunately, I didn't get to hang around for a chat, but snagged a setlist.

Can't wait for October!!

Oh this was recorded and not exactly sure when it will air. Can't find any info yet, though I'm sure it'll be in a few days, if not a week at most.

I'm still not getting this 'forgetting the words to a song' thing. But I'm not a songwriter or performer so I probably would never understand.

There's no really rational way to describe it Paul. I'm *really* good at remembering the lyrics to lots of songs, sometimes I won't have sung a song for years and if the chords are simple I can still perform it word-perfect. I've completed writing of exactly *one* song (side note trivia to you Paul, the song is called "Zumbro Valley" and I gotta say it's actually a pretty good song), and the words are kind of burned into my skull since I wrote them...but I've got absolutely lost in the middle of singing it and can't for the life of me remember the next line. It's weird and kind of inexplicable, but it definitely happens.

Actually, looks like audio's up for it too, just click the appropriate "listen" button here and a popup will appear and play it:

It's a few minutes shorter than the video; don't know what they've cut for it, haven't listened to or watched either yet.

My capture apps didn't work for the video sadly, but do for the audio, so here it is in one big mp3. Enjoy.
