i "PLAY" but i'm not very good. I have a tendancy to break a lot of strings......that may be down to them being cheap, or the fact that i have no idea what i'm doing. (though i do have to abilty to work out stuff by ear which may possibly make up for my rubbish-ness at playing!! LOL)

Hi!!

Ooh there are many guitarist here!!
For my part, I did 5 years of drum and 3 years of keybord!

And since about 1 year I try to learn guitar alone! (my avatar is my guitar)
But it's difficult and when I tried to learn a music I was fast weary!!

But now I try to do KT's music and it's better because I can listen and listen and listen her songs i'm not weary!!

I manage to play "other side of the world"!

(You must find my english ridiculous  )

I'm learning to play, but at this point I have much more enthusiasm than either talent or technique! Baby steps.

Yeah! well you have to start somewhere, having the enthusiasm is half the battle, if you don' t have it then you're stuck! :D

Same here. I'm not serious enough to pay for lessons (although that might change next year) so I've pretty much taught myself from some books and tabs off the internet. I have some cheap acoustic guitar that I got for Christmas, because I wanted to learn KT's songs so badly.

First song I ever learned and played decently was "Universe & U", come to think of it...

right now I'm working on learning "Neon" by John Mayer, because I have a bet with one of my friends. he's been playing for a few years and still can't play that song...I get $20 if I learn it (I've only been playing since January). And yes...that was random. I apologize.
