Right, I actually just mentioned the possibility here two days ago, and now I actually just found out KT is actually playing with an orchestra TONIGHT in Switzerland, if I'm understanding correctly

Look here: http://www.20min.ch/news/basel/story/-I ... --24626057

It's in the box halfway on the right. And on the her gig page too!

All concerts are recorded and broadcast in up to forty countries on Swiss Television (SF), Arte, Telebasel and 3sat networks (a potential audience of 150 million households). The majority of concerts are also broadcast on Switzerland's DRS1 and DRS3 radio stations. In 2006 the festival’s first Eurovision broadcast took place with a show of Sir Elton John, followed by Katie Melua’s Europe-wide live broadcast in 2007. Additionally, the first live DVD featuring the show of Solomon Burke in 2003 was released in the same year. Since 2009 there is a live DVD of Jethro Tull's performance in 2008 on the market.
The AVO SESSION Basel has won first prize in the cultural category of the International Sponsorships Awards presented by the German sponsorship association FASPO.

Didn't she play Hold On with an orchestra a few years back? I remember that being pretty funny

Totally agree with the bluesy style. :smt023 It sounds crazy, but i'd like to hear KT's voice with a sax (i love that instrument). :mrg:

I like TS too. She could add the exact dose of "nature techno" without spoiling her original style. But if she follows this way, she has to be careful: nature techno in excess could be risky.

Anyway, KT faces a nice challenge. I'm sure she won't disappoint us, we all trust in her. :smt023

Well the bluesy style has worked brilliantly for Sandi Thom..her Merchant album is quality, and includes the one and only Joe Bonamassa on it...her musics so much more mature...not sure if KT is bluesy myself..i still say she should go rockier.

Speaking of which, I'm seeing Bonamassa this Tuesday at the State Theater in Mpls. His first show since his shows at Hammersmith this weekend. I hope he can put the same monumental show that I read he did at Hammersmith.

Back to KT..... :smt023
