Ah there used to be a time when you couldn't walk into woolies Ayr without hearing the Tunstall :(

Is this connected to the fact you don't work there anymore?

It's not exactly played as such, but I was in school today and our Biology teacher was using the internet on the overhead projector. She was on the Oprah website and there was a huge banner for Tiger Suit!

(don't ask why she was on the Oprah site, I was too distracted to pay any attention to what she was talking about...)

There's a little garden centre just down the road from me, and in the restaurant they're ALWAYS playing the same loop of songs, and eventually we get Paper Aeroplane!! :D

I felt sooo proud of hearing randomly "Fade Like A Shadow" in a huge clothing shop in Annecy!! :smt041
I nearly sang along :smt034 but I prevented myself from spoiling other people's pleasure to discover it!
I didn't know that other non-nutjob french would know this amazing song despite the fact it's not even a single in our country and that the album hasn't been released yet!! :smt023

Usually its me playing her stuff on my hi-fi or on the main music outlet in my lounge room when I'm cleaning. At least I know I'll get some KT variety, radio here only plays SIS, as does everywhere else (although thankfully the Special K ads with that song on it have stopped running now...drove me nuts only hearing the first 2 lines and then the beginning of the chorus), although I did hear BH&TCT a few weeks back in my local shopping centre.

I still consider getting wasted as an artistic pursuit.
Music, too, can be a route out of places too dark to stay.

I work in the pharmacy of a large grocery chain in the midwest United States and KT's always on the store's Muzak loop. It varies from month to month but I've heard Little Favours, If Only, Hold On, Hopeless, OSOTW, BHACT and SIS. I've also heard tracks at Starbucks, Victoria's Secret, J.Jill and Dillard's.
