^ I know, I paid 50 quid for it as well. And that was supposed to be a good deal with others being 120 or even 200, bloody rip-offs those!

Thanks to Kim, I'll now have a pressie (from myself) under the tree. 8)

At last!
Was rather surprised myself, was having a look to see whether they might be selling the KT Christmas cd as it's the season (I only have it from iTunes) but found this instead!

I still have an extra copy of the Christmas CD, just let me know where you want it sent Kim.

Hey doll, that's very sweet of you but in the meantime I got it from Amazon already
But I'm sure someone else would find it a wicked Christmas pressie! But thanks for thinking of me! :smt058

It's pretty rare, though if I'm not wrong HMV had recently put some in the market (all gone now).

if you aren't bidding on it, do you mind if I do?

EDIT: never mind, seems like the seller doesn't ship to argentina

YAY! Finally someone who knows my pain: I hate how these rare items can't be shipped to South America. And when they are shipped to South America shipping costs like 248512542457245 times more than the item itself. Not only KT-related item but many things on ebay has this cr*p shipping thing.
I want a maxi-disc of Suddenly I See and one that I found, shipping costed 27 dollars.

Anyway, I'm not bidding it, I'm saving money to buy Live In London and Scarlet Tulip EP on her website.

27 dollars??!! WTH? What are they doing? Packing in a box in a box in a box in a box in a box (you get the idea). I don't think I've even costed that much to send to Argentina :s

I'm from Brazil, btw, but still... South America.
I didn't bought it. I refuse to pay such price.

Still, I that seems ridiculous to Brazil 7" is only something like £2 from the UK for normal airmail. I would approx £8/9 for a tracked service for a 12" (sorry btw)

I actually never bought from HMV because their shipping costs are outrageous. For the DF LP they want to charge me £18.50 :(

Even tho the prices on her website are highest ever, I found shipping fair enough. It's like 3,50 pounds each disc and it comes in 15 days.
But I did find listings with good prices on shipping. It's just a matter of time.

Maybe ask someone from the uk if they can send it on for you? UK shipping is free. I wouldn't mind doing it but I'm in Holland myself obviously!

You do have to bear in mind that it is postage AND packing, you're also paying the wage of the person who packs the item, plus the box it comes in.

I would happily do it for any international forumer, I have to go down the post office daily for my business. The only thing is that you would have to check the Royal Mail postage checker first, a 100gram package would be £2.07 plus £4.95 for the signed for service international, so you can see where they get their prices from.

If any forumer comes across something that has rediculous postage costs, say a cd for £18 postage as mentioned above, check the postage finder and give me a shout if its a lot cheaper :D
